These coaching sessions are provided by our FM/PED champions on topics regarding health and healthcare. LOCATE Tool

Within the PNOC work we will be facilitating the implementation of the CDC LOCATe tool in all of our WNC hospitals with active birthing centers. It is a tool to assign a standardized level of care for maternity and pediatric care and is being implemented across the nation. The goal is to increase data collection and communication between birthing centers to ultimately improve outcomes for mothers and babies.


This project was made possible thanks to the funding, guidance, and support from North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services - Division of Public Health - Maternal Health Branch-Women, Infant, and Community Wellness Section.
