Our team conducts high-quality clinical research to evaluate new medical treatments, therapies, and devices. Our highly trained staff provides a safe, ethical, and comfortable environment for trials across our various specialties, aiming to improve patient outcomes and advance healthcare.

MAHEC's clinical trials are supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated wet-lab, advanced diagnostics, sample storage, investigational drug service, patient amenities such as an on-site cafe, and secure data systems, all adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Our experienced team of Providers, Research Administrators, Nurse Coordinators, and Pharmacists provide full trial support. We prioritize patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout every trial.

Investigator-initiated studies are supported by our Division for Research and Analytics, providing a full range of study design, data collection, and statistical analysis capabilities.

Key Functions
  • Careful pre-trial evaluation/feasibility, including ethical considerations for any trial proposal
  • Comprehensive contract review and budget evaluation/negotiation/approval process
  • Regulatory/IRB document submission and reporting
  • Patient recruitment (on-going referral capture)
  • Study tracking and coordination, as well as case report form completion through various EDC systems
  • Investigative product storage/tracking/disposal
  • Experience with use of electronic data reporting and randomization methods
  • Participation in analysis and publication of data
