The Division of Research and Analytics works in collaboration with our clinical practices and our academic health center at UNC Health Sciences. Our scientists support Graduate Medical Education (GME) research, grant funded MAHEC projects, as well as local and regional community partnerships that benefit Western North Carolina.
Our team consists of research scientists, research associates, and research coordinators who share a particular focus on addressing the most predominant health issues facing our rural and underserved populations.
To meet these needs, we focus on creating interdisciplinary teams made up of clinicians, patients, public health professionals, teaching faculty, residents, medical and allied health students, local partners, other academic institutions, and state and national healthcare experts.
We work in close partnership with our Division of Clinical Trials and Division of Program Evaluation to provide comprehensive research services to our clinical departments and community partners.
