We Create Safer Homes and Communities for our Children

MAHEC’s Safe Kids WNC is dedicated to reducing accidental injuries among children in Western North Carolina. We educate and support parents and professionals through community action, public awareness, education, technology, and public policy initiatives.

90% of accidental injuries can be prevented

Accidental injuries are responsible for more deaths and disabilities to children than all childhood diseases combined. Safe Kids WNC brings together people that are interested in the wellbeing of children.
