The AHEC Digital Library (ADL) provides access to resources compiled by NC AHEC librarians that support health care practice and clinical education in North Carolina.
Anyone may use the ADL to access reliable health information resources for clinical answers, continuing education, patient education, and health specialty collections. Select full-text journals and books are available via the AHEC Digital Library without membership.
Eligibility for access to subscription resources is based on affiliation with AHEC and/or paid membership.

Subject guides are resource collections of interest to MAHEC faculty, fellows, residents, staff, affiliated learners, and regional health and human services personnel, curated by MAHEC Librarians.
Literature searches can help answer clinical, teaching, research, and healthcare administration questions. Expert literature searches in support of patient care services in Western North Carolina are offered at no cost, courtesy of MAHEC Library Science. For research or in-depth study, contact us for availability and pricing. Results are emailed and include full citations and abstracts when available.

Article delivery is provided to MAHEC employees, community faculty* for MAHEC fellows and residents, and preceptors* of UNC Chapel Hill Health Affairs students at no cost, courtesy of MAHEC Library Science. In support of patient care services in WNC, article delivery is provided to unaffiliated health and human services personnel for $12 per article. *with confirmed eligibility
