Thank you for choosing MAHEC Ob/Gyn Specialists for your Ob/Gyn care!
COVID-19 UPDATE. The health and safety of our patients and staff are our top priority. MAHEC is prepared to respond to our patients' needs related to coronavirus. Below are some of the changes you will notice in our practice:
Only one (1) family member or support person may accompany a patient to a scheduled appointment. We appreciate your partnership as we work to protect the health of our patients and staff.
We are postponing all elective surgeries for the next 30 days (as of March 23).
Routine care: Patients with scheduled routine office visits may be called to reschedule or to be set up with a telemedicine visit to avoid having to come to the office.
Contraception care: Current and new patients in need of contraception can call our office at 828-771-5500 and ask for a “contraception visit,” which will be conducted as a telemedicine visit or phone call.
Prescriptions: Most prescription refills will be handled over the phone.
If you develop a fever and cough or shortness of breath: Established patients should stay home and call a MAHEC nurse at (828) 771-5500 and select option 1 to get further instructions.
We are proud to be a Patient-Centered Specialty Practice! We demonstrate patient-centered care and clinical quality through streamlined referral processes and care coordination with referring clinicians, timely patient- and caregiver-focused care management and continuous clinical quality improvement.
