The MAHEC Pre-Med Track Program is an opportunity for regional undergraduates to gain additional personalized support around the medical school application process. Selected participants will have the opportunity to complete a free Spring Princeton Review MCAT Preparation Course, receive personalized advising and personal statement review, attend presentations on UNC School of Medicine Admissions and Medical School Selection, participate in Mock Interviews, and have preferential consideration for one of MAHEC’s paid Clinical Summer Internships (subject to internship criteria and availability). Pre-Med Track programming runs through the academic year. This program aims to increase successful matriculation of Western North Carolina applicants to medical schools.
Applicants may be selected for interviews after the application deadline. Interviews will be virtual and scheduled via the email provided on the application.
