Applications are now open! The deadline to apply is May 2, 2025.
Students will be notified of decisions by May 12, 2025, depending on application volume. Accepted students will be contacted at the email address provided on the application form and will be required to complete paperwork with a parent/guardian.
MAHEC offers a one-of-a-kind, 4-day, 3-night summer camp experience for rural high school students (rising juniors, seniors, or class of 2025 seniors) who are interested in health careers. Students stay overnight in dorms at UNCA and participate in daily, hands-on, healthcare activities on UNCA and MAHEC’s campus in addition to a trip to the Adventure Center of Asheville’s ropes course. There is no cost for students to attend. Meals and snacks are provided.
