Register now for this online, self-guided course!
NC DHHS has developed partnerships with North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) to provide practice support, technical assistance, and continuing professional development to help Tailored Care Management providers who have applied and passed the desk review in the transition to Tailored Care Management. The TCM Continuing Professional Development programs are designed to assist TCM care managers, supervisors, and extenders with evidence-based practices in all treatment settings for the successful implementation of TCM.
This program equips healthcare professionals to safely and effectively manage psychotropic medications for older adults. Participants will gain a clear understanding of key psychopharmacology concepts and be able to identify commonly prescribed medications as well as their risks and benefits. Drug-drug and drug-disease interactions will also be discussed.
