Fathers often report that they are left out when it comes to the care and feeding of their infant. This course explores the critical role fathers play in the breastfeeding process, including the importance of including men in obstetric care, advocating for fathers as equal partners in breastfeeding and parenting relationships, and identifying effective teaching strategies for preparing fathers as breastfeeding coaches. This course will enhance the healthcare professionals' support for fathers in facilitating a successful breastfeeding experience.
