School Nurse National Board Certification Exam Review Course

Description
This program is designed to prepare the school nurse for success in the National Board Certification Exam. It will cover essential subjects to empower school nurses with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence for the exam. Delivery will be through a Learning Management System, facilitating active participant involvement. Over a 12-week period, participants will have access to study materials, practice questions, and resources allowing for ample time for review of challenging content.
The program comprises eight modules, each containing 120 minutes of material, which can be completed at the participant's own pace and in any order they choose.
Approximate time to complete the course: 16 hours (2 hours per module)
Learner content includes: Videos, handouts, quizzes, and other resources
Participants have 12 weeks to complete this course and access course materials.
Target Audience
School Nurses eligible for the National Board Certification in School Nursing Exam
Objectives
After participating in this program the participant will:
- Achieve a comprehensive understanding of key concepts covered in the school nurse certification exam
- Gain confidence in the knowledge that is considered essential for a school nurse in practice
- Determine strengths and areas needing improvement within the broad spectrum of content assessed in the school nurse certification exam by engaging in tests and educational exercises
- Apply for and successfully pass the National Board Certification Exam
