In this module, learners will incorporate new skills into their treatment of people in pain. They will use assessment tools with confidence. We will discuss the relevance of Motivational Interviewing in pain treatment. Participants will develop appropriate ways to help people develop goals for their treatment. Learners will develop proficiency with four different cognitive-behavioral activities to use with people and will build competence with starting helpful conversations.

*It is suggested that you take Chronic Pain Module 1: Foundations of Pain Treatment prior to taking this module but it is not required.
