Objectives
Upon completion of this knowledge and skill-based program participants will:
- Identify effective strategies for supporting students with dysautonomia in a school setting
- Evaluate evidence-based treatments and strategies for managing ADHD in educational environments
- Discuss how 504 plans can be applied to students with mental health disorders
- Identify effective strategies for supporting a student who is pregnant
- Perform a focused ear assessment
- Perform a focused respiratory assessment
- Understand implications in the school setting for various cardiac conditions
- Understand how to identify Disordered Eating (DE) and Eating Disorders (ED)
