Objectives

Upon completion of this knowledge and skill-based program participants will:

  • Identify effective strategies for supporting students with dysautonomia in a school setting
  • Evaluate evidence-based treatments and strategies for managing ADHD in educational environments
  • Discuss how 504 plans can be applied to students with mental health disorders
  • Identify effective strategies for supporting a student who is pregnant
  • Perform a focused ear assessment
  • Perform a focused respiratory assessment
  • Understand implications in the school setting for various cardiac conditions
  • Understand how to identify Disordered Eating (DE) and Eating Disorders (ED)
