MAHEC School Nurse Competency Simulation Workshop will offer simulation that will reinforce the information that was presented during the SNANC Education day.

Target Audience

MAHEC School Nurses, Supervisors, and Program Director

Objectives

Upon completion of this skill-based program participants will:

• Perform a focused ear assessment
• Perform a thorough Respiratory assessment
• Demonstrate a patient interaction with a teen who is pregnant
• Demonstrate interventions for students with various cardiac diagnoses
• Demonstrate steps to take if a medication error has been identified
