The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Initial and Recertification Provider courses are designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, in or out of the hospital setting. The goal of the ACLS Provider course is to improve the quality of care provided to the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergency. Students will practice the application of these and other skills in simulated cases, and will practice both team leader and team member roles.
Course credit is not provided by MAHEC. Continuing education credit will be awarded by the American Heart Association® when participants claim their certification card.
