The first session will review the legal landscape of MOUD for geriatric patients and the federal protections for patients with OUD in skilled nursing facilities. In session 2, providers experienced in OUD treatment will discuss continuing and initiating medications to care for individuals with OUD in skilled nursing facilities. Session 3 will provide an overview of the program logistics of initiating and providing medications for treating OUD in skilled nursing facilities, including working with opioid treatment programs.
