WIC Designated Breastfeeding Expert Quarterly Update

Description

This WIC Designated Breastfeeding Expert Quarterly Update will take a break from the Core Curriculum for Interdisciplinary Lactation Care and will focus on building clinical skills. Ellen Chetwynd, PhD, MPH, BSN, IBCLC and Jessica Luginbuhl, MPH, IBCLC will guide the learners through the Teaching Babies to Nurse. Teaching Babies to Nurse is a set of lactation assessment and treatment tools developed by Ellen Chetwynd, PhD, MPH, BSN, IBCLC that focus on babies being smart, adaptive, and sure of themselves. During this workshop, the instructors will teach us about infant physiology, the completion of a lactation assessment, and the treatment tools to support lactation.
