Drawing from both scientific and clinical research, Southern Headache Society's 14th Annual Scientific Meeting will focus on clinical advances in headache medicine.

Some of the lecture topics will include: channelopathies and migraine, epigenetics and the role of environment/lifestyle in headache, POTS for the headache medicine practitioner, impact of hormonal and fertility treatment in headache medicine, nutraceuticals and non-pharmacologic treatments, emerging pharmaceutical treatment targets, clinical trial design impact on clinical practice, impact and incorporating research into one's practice.

The curriculum is intended for specialists and trainees in headache medicine as well as general neurology and primary care providers treating patients with headache.
