Join us in beautiful Asheville, NC, or virtually via Webex for the North Carolina Emergency Nurses Symposium, the region's premier emergency nursing event of the year! This annual event brings together stretcher-side emergency nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, and directors for cutting-edge clinical and leadership education. Designed for emergency nurses from across the region, this engaging educational opportunity will advance knowledge in this specialty through evidence-based information and provide outstanding networking opportunities with colleagues and corporate partners.
Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant will be able to discuss pertinent emergency nursing responsibilities related to the sessions explored in this event.

Objectives
Upon completion of this knowledge-based program participants will:
- Self assess an increase in knowledge of up-to-date best practices in care of the patient in the emergency department setting
- Identify strategies for enhanced patient care and workflow efficiency
- Develop strategies to care for the patient with a hazardous exposure
- Gain an increase in knowledge of how to care for the pediatric patient in the emergency department setting
