Our speakers represent a wide variety of healthcare disciplines. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the latest in robotic surgery, same day surgery, patient optimization, orthopaedic trauma, and self-care. Along with learning some exciting things about orthopaedic care, you will have the opportunity to network with other orthopaedic care providers and submit questions to an expert panel of speakers.
This will be a continuing education activity for nurses, occupational therapists/assistants, and physical therapists/assistants to achieve contact hours. We look forward to having you participate in this educational event.

Target Audience
Healthcare professionals interested in orthopaedics or who are currently involved in orthopaedic patient care
Objectives
- Healthcare professionals will be able to identify potential post-operative complications, such as infection, deep vein thrombosis, implant dislocation, and wound complications.
- Healthcare professionals will evaluate crush injuries in orthopaedics, demonstrate expert clinical judgment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Healthcare professionals will promote personal resilience and well-being, for optimal mental, emotional, and physical health while effectively supporting patients and their families.
- Healthcare professionals will describe robotic systems used in orthopaedic surgery, including knowledge of the robotic arms, instruments, control systems, and imaging modalities utilized in the procedure.
