Healthy Opportunities: Sensitive Services for HSOs and Pilot Staff; Privacy and Confidentiality for Survivors
live webinar has been canceled at this time.
This content will be recorded and released in March 2023.

This module is designed for Human Service Organization and other Pilot staff to understand the importance of privacy, safety, and confidentiality when working with beneficiaries and their data, particularly for those who may be survivors of interpersonal violence (IPV). This training will help learners define interpersonal violence, become familiar with pilot services for IPV survivors, and implement key requirements related to data security, safe outreach, and the Unite Us sensitive service functionalities.

Length of live event: 60 minutes

The Framework:

North Carolina's Healthy Opportunities Pilot program is an unprecedented opportunity to test the integration of evidence-based, non-medical interventions into the state's Medicaid program. The Pilots will provide non-medical services to qualifying Medicaid members across four domains: housing, food, transportation and interpersonal violence/toxic stress. Critically, frontline care managers working in Pilot regions will play an essential role in identifying members that may benefit from Pilot services, recommending appropriate services and coordinating their care.
