LEA Administrative Action Planning for Empowering Staff Well-being, Mental Health and Resilience - What’s working and where do we go from here?

Description

School leadership across North Carolina recognize that student success depends on a healthy and happy workforce. This one-day interactive strategy session allows administrators across North Carolina an opportunity to collaborate as they seek to better understand the challenges LEA employees have faced throughout the last few years, share ideas and develop best practices and an action plan to support the overall well-being of staff moving forward. To sustain these efforts and provide individualized support, this strategy session will be followed-up with small group coaching session(s). There will be a few materials/resources for attendees to review per-class; these materials will be shared with registrants pre-class.

This work is funded by the NC Department of Public Instruction through the CDC cooperative agreement, Improving Student Health and Academic Achievement Through Nutrition, Physical Activity and the Management of Chronic Conditions in Schools (DP18-1801 Healthy Schools; 5 NU58DP006437-03-00). It is offered in partnership with the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) North Carolina Institute of Public Health (NCIPH), Continuum Consulting Services and RBH Wellness Solutions.
