Welcome to MAHEC Ob/Gyn Specialists!

We are very excited that you have entrusted us with your care. We provide Ob/Gyn services to women of all ages. Comprehensive and collaborative care is provided by our team of physicians, nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives. We offer an array of services inclusive of medication injections, laboratory, ultrasonography, and in-office surgical procedures. Hospital and Labor and Delivery services provided at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.

We offer a variety of Ob/Gyn services including, but not limited to:

Gynecological cancer screenings & pap smears
Breast cancer screenings
Substance use disorder care for pregnant women (Project CARA)
Adolescent pediatric gynecological care
High risk obstetrical care
Abnormal bleeding evaluation and management
Abnormal pap management
Pelvic pain evaluations
Pelvic floor physical therapy
Urinary incontinence evaluation and management
Reproductive issues and infertility
STD testing and treatment
Contraception counseling
Preconception planning
Prenatal/pregnancy care & postpartum care
Postpartum anxiety and depression
Lactation assistance
Menopausal symptom management / Hormone replacement
In-office OB and gynecologic ultrasounds
Vaginal prolapse evaluation and management

We perform a number of in-office and surgical procedures including, but not limited to:

Loop Electrical Excision Procedure (LEEP)(in-office)
Colposcopy (in-office)
OB and gynecologic ultrasounds (in office)
IUD & Nexplanon placement & removal (in office)
Cervical cone biopsy
Hysterectomy
Hysteroscopy (in office and hospital)
Endometrial ablation ( in office and hospital)
Dilation & Curettage (D&C) (in office and hospital)
Tubal ligation / Permanent sterilization
Diagnostic Laparoscopy
Ovarian cyst removal
Vaginal prolapse repair
