This training provides a practical, evidence-based overview of effective treatment for Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder (CD). Participants will learn core principles of treatment, examine proven strategies for reducing disruptive behaviors, and explore the collaborative roles of parents and caregivers, school professionals, and mental health providers.
The course highlights two widely used treatment approaches; Parent Management Training Programs and Individual/Family Psychotherapy. This course guides participants through applicable techniques using experiential activities, video demonstrations, and group discussion. By the end, participants will be equipped with a range of actionable strategies to enhance their work with children, adolescents, and families facing challenges related to ODD and CD.
