The MAHEC Alumni Learning Series is designed to engage and support MAHEC alumni in their ongoing professional development.

This series will cover current trends and advancements in clinical care, leadership, and healthcare innovation. Whether you're interested in earning free CME credit, sharing your experience, or gaining insight, this series provides a platform for alumni and alumni champions to reconnect, exchange knowledge, and enhance clinical skills.

Led by MAHEC alumni, each session will focus on practical insights and evidence-based practices relevant to alumni specialties, with opportunities for Q&A and peer discussions. This program will help alumni stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements, strengthening their impact on patient care and community health.

Audience

Physicians, Pharmacists, Other Clinicians, Community Health Workers, Dentist, Health Educators, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Qualified Professionals, Registered Nurses

Objectives

check Increase Knowledge of Current Evidence-Based Practices: Describe and summarize at least two new evidence-based practices or treatment protocols, as assessed through post-session knowledge checks
check Strengthen Competency in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Take part in interdisciplinary communication by accurately discussing and integrating input from various alumni, as assessed through post-session knowledge checks
check Enhance Knowledge of Community Health Impact: Identify effective community-based health interventions relevant to their patient populations, showing competency in adapting these strategies to enhance local health outcomes, as assessed through post-session knowledge checks

Cancellation Policy

MAHEC has a pay-up-front policy for all CE programs. The only exceptions will be for pre-approved programs where an individual payment plan is appropriate. Registrations received without accompanying payment will not be processed and participants who have not paid the course fee will not be admitted into the program.

Unless otherwise noted in course materials, the following cancellation policy applies to all programs:

  • Cancellations must be in writing (fax, email, or mail).
  • Cancellations received more than 2 weeks prior to the event will receive 100% refund.
  • Cancellations received between two weeks and two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a minimum $25 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received less than two full business days prior to the event.
  • No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund.
  • Transfers/substitute(s) are welcome (please notify us in advance of the program).
