This series will cover current trends and advancements in clinical care, leadership, and healthcare innovation. Whether you're interested in earning free CME credit, sharing your experience, or gaining insight, this series provides a platform for alumni and alumni champions to reconnect, exchange knowledge, and enhance clinical skills.

Led by MAHEC alumni, each session will focus on practical insights and evidence-based practices relevant to alumni specialties, with opportunities for Q&A and peer discussions. This program will help alumni stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements, strengthening their impact on patient care and community health.

Target Audience

MAHEC Alumni, Dentist, Pharmacist, MD/DO, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, Qualified Health Professional, Health Educator, Preceptor, GME Champion and Faculty, Current residents & fellows who are eager to learn and stay engaged with the MAHEC network

  • Describe MAHEC's global health in Honduras and community response in WNC in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene
  • Identify challenges faced in healthcare for both rural and global spaces
  • Discuss how Hurricane Helene and global health reveal the importance of team-based care
  • Examine global solutions that facilitate successful implementation of team-based healthcare delivery
