Target Audience
RN, LPN, CNA, CMA, MD/DO, Dentist, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacists, EMT/EMS/Paramedic, and all other healthcare professionals.
Objectives
Upon completion of this knowledge-based educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe the importance of high quality CPR and its impact on survival
- Recognize the signs of someone needing CPR
- Perform 1-rescuer and 2-rescuer adult, child and infant CPR
- Demonstrate the use of an AED
- Perform techniques for relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for a responsive and unresponsive adult, child, and infant
