The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted almost every aspect of life in America. Unique stressors, not previously faced, have had negative effects on individuals, couples and families. In order to best help and support clients during this unprecedented time, psychologists and other mental health professionals must be aware of pandemic-specific factors which may result in trauma.

Ethical care demands that all psychotherapists be aware of their own personal views and beliefs about current events to minimize bias and countertransference. It is also imperative that therapists be able to adopt therapeutic techniques to remotely treat trauma on livestream platforms. Please join Dr. Heather Ulrich, clinical psychologist, for this highly-relevant ethics seminar. This is a great opportunity to obtain ethics hours needed to renew your clinical license, while simultaneously increasing insight necessary to provide optimal remote care in this time of crisis.

This workshop includes 4.0 hours of Ethics Credit.
