Project ECHO® is a lifelong learning and guided practice model that revolutionizes nursing education to provide best-practice specialty care and reduce health disparities. ECHO is led by an expert team that uses multi-point videoconferencing to conduct virtual learning sessions comprised of a short didactic followed by case presentations provided by participants.

Login time for every Module is 7:50 am. Each learning session is one hour from 8 am to 9 am.
The snow date for each module will be the following Wednesday, when feasible.
This tele-videoconferencing series guided by experts takes place bi-monthly over eleven modules and will cover topics specific to school nurses including:

NOTE: School nurse participants will be assigned a case that they will present to faculty and peers for direct feedback. Nurses must attend 80% of this education series (9 out of 11 webinars) for CNE credit.

Objectives
- Identify interventions for assessing and managing dermatological conditions, hypertension, diabetes, mental health disorders, asthma, seizure disorders and concussion
- Implement the Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and CRAFFT 2.0 screening tools in schools
- Develop skills to conduct Brief Negotiated Interviews (BNI) and use Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills in student interviews, healthy behavior reinforcement conversations, brief interventions, and referrals during the SBIRT process
