Join us for the 2026 LPN Conference.

This year's focus will be threefold. First, self-care and personal well-being are critical for healthcare professionals. So many times LPNs do not take time and care for themselves. Secondly, there will be an update on telehealth modalities and GLP-1 medications. Finally, the afternoon will be spent in the MAHEC Simulation Center.

Participants may choose to attend only the morning sessions, either in person or virtually, or they may choose to attend the full day in person.

Audience

Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Nursing Home Administrators, and others interested in the topics

Objectives

Participants will:

check Learn about the newest principles in clinical and virtual care settings and the use of emotional intelligence components (self-awareness, empathy, regulation)
check Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based interventions in nurse well-being, such as mindfulness, resilience training and balancing workload
check Gain knowledge and confidence in using telehealth modalities and clarify the LPN's role in virtual care
check Be able to state proper use of GLP-1 receptor agonists, their clinical uses, risks, and patient education strategies

    Cancellation Policy

    MAHEC has a pay-up-front policy for all CE programs. The only exceptions will be for pre-approved programs where an individual payment plan is appropriate. Registrations received without accompanying payment will not be processed and participants who have not paid the course fee will not be admitted into the program.

    Unless otherwise noted in course materials, the following cancellation policy applies to all programs:

    • Cancellations must be in writing (fax, email, or mail).
    • Cancellations received more than two weeks prior to the event will receive 100% refund.
    • Cancellations received between two weeks and five full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a minimum $25 cancellation fee.
    • No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received less than five full business days prior to the event.
    • No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund.
    • Transfers/substitute(s) are welcome (please notify us in advance of the program).
