Join us for the 2026 LPN Conference.
This year's focus will be threefold. First, self-care and personal well-being are critical for healthcare professionals. So many times LPNs do not take time and care for themselves. Secondly, there will be an update on telehealth modalities and GLP-1 medications. Finally, the afternoon will be spent in the MAHEC Simulation Center.
Participants may choose to attend only the morning sessions, either in person or virtually, or they may choose to attend the full day in person.
Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Nursing Home Administrators, and others interested in the topics
Participants will:
Learn about the newest principles in clinical and virtual care settings and the use of emotional intelligence components (self-awareness, empathy, regulation) |
Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based interventions in nurse well-being, such as mindfulness, resilience training and balancing workload |
Gain knowledge and confidence in using telehealth modalities and clarify the LPN's role in virtual care |
Be able to state proper use of GLP-1 receptor agonists, their clinical uses, risks, and patient education strategies |
