July 1st, 2021 marked the start of NC Medicaid Transformation with the transition to Standard Care Plans. NC DHHS has begun the process of preparing for Tailored Care Management (TCM) to begin in December of 2022. To prepare for this, DHHS has developed partnerships with North Carolina Area Health Education Center (NC AHEC) to provide practice support, technical assistance, and continuing professional development to help Tailored Care Management providers who have applied and passed the desk review in the transition to Tailored Care Management. The TCM Collaborative is designed to assist TCM candidates in developing the administrative tools to implement best practices within all treatment settings and among all providers. The Collaborative will be led by NC AHEC Practice Support to facilitate a coordinated learning experience with access to subject matter experts across the state.



Interested in becoming an AMH+ or CMA? This session will provide an overview of Tailored Care Management and the process for becoming a AMH+ or CMA. This session will focus on what to expect in the first phase of the certification: the desk review.

This course is not intended for sale. It is for approved AMH+/CMA providers and Tailored Plans only. A discount code to allow free access will be provided to you by your agency administrator. Please input your agency information at checkout. By registering for this program, participants understand that their contact information may be shared with NC DHHS.

Cancellation Policy

MAHEC has a pay-up-front policy for all CE programs. The only exceptions will be for pre-approved programs where an individual payment plan is appropriate. Registrations received without accompanying payment will not be processed and participants who have not paid the course fee will not be admitted into the program.

Unless otherwise noted in course materials, the following cancellation policy applies to all programs:

  • Cancellations must be in writing (fax, email, or mail).
  • Cancellations received more than 2 weeks prior to the event will receive 100% refund.
  • Cancellations received between two weeks and two full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a minimum $25 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received less than two full business days prior to the event.
  • No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund.
  • Transfers/substitute(s) are welcome (please notify us in advance of the program).
