LPN Symposium 2025
Apr 16, 2025 Open Nursing

Description
Effective, purposeful communication is essential in any workplace but especially critical in healthcare settings where patient care could potentially suffer setbacks. Join us for the 2025 LPN Symposium where techniques for better communication and giving and receiving feedback will be discussed. Additionally, ways of preventing or de-escalating workplace violence will be demonstrated.
The afternoon will be spent in the MAHEC Simulation Center where attendees will participate in skills practice sessions and examine case studies related to the morning agenda topics. You may choose to attend just the morning didactics session or the full day (morning and afternoon). Due to the hands-on nature of the simulation portion, the afternoon session will only be offered in person.
