NC DHHS has developed partnerships with North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) to provide practice support, technical assistance, and continuing professional development to help Tailored Care Management providers who have applied and passed the desk review in the transition to Tailored Care Management. The TCM Continuing Professional Development programs are designed to assist TCM care managers, supervisors, and extenders with evidence-based practices in all treatment settings for the successful implementation of TCM.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most frequently used evidence-based practices in behavioral health services and is a valuable treatment tool for helping individuals achieve their goals. To optimize the effectiveness of CBT, it is important that all professionals on the healthcare team have adequate training in CBT in order to support the goals of treatment. This workshop will introduce care managers and other healthcare professionals to the key tenets and select skills of CBT, with the goals of helping them effectively support the work being done by licensed behavioral health professionals and equipping them with the vernacular of CBT.

TCM care managers, supervisors, and extenders from the Tailored Plans, TCM certified clinically integrated networks (CINs), TCM certified advanced medical homes+ (AMH+) and care management agencies (CMA)

	Describe the social skill repertoires necessary for effective community engagement and for coordinating health care with professionals

MAHEC has a pay-up-front policy for all CE programs. The only exceptions will be for pre-approved programs where an individual payment plan is appropriate. Registrations received without accompanying payment will not be processed and participants who have not paid the course fee will not be admitted into the program.

Unless otherwise noted in course materials, the following cancellation policy applies to all programs:

Cancellations must be in writing (fax, email, or mail).
Cancellations received more than two weeks prior to the event will receive 100% refund.
Cancellations received between two weeks and five full business days prior to the first day of the event are refunded at 70% of the registration fee subject to a minimum $25 cancellation fee.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received less than five full business days prior to the event.
No vouchers will be issued in lieu of a refund.
Transfers/substitute(s) are welcome (please notify us in advance of the program).
