MAHEC Project ECHO for COVID-19 - Developing Resilience for the Healthcare Workforce - Video Teleconferencing Series
Available through Nov 16, 2020 Closed Medicine Nursing

Description
The COVID-19 pandemic has put healthcare professionals across North Carolina in an unprecedented situation. Healthcare professionals are having to make impossible decisions and work under extreme pressures. These decisions may include how to allocate scant resources to equally needy patients, how to balance their own physical and mental healthcare needs with those of patients, how to align their desire and duty to patients with those to family and friends, and how to provide care for all severely unwell patients with constrained or inadequate resources. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for health care workers to build personal resilience to improve the quality of their daily lives. The goal of this ECHO® (Extension in Community Healthcare Outcomes) is to provide healthcare providers and physician practice staff with individually focused tools for building resiliency.
