Join us for a two-part professional development series integrating evidence-based clinical interventions, ethical decision-making, supervision, documentation, and collaborative care practices to support recovery-oriented behavioral health services within integrated healthcare settings.

Many clients seek behavioral health services after experiences that challenge their sense of identity, purpose, relationships, functioning, and well-being. Grief, chronic illness, trauma, substance use, aging-related transitions, and major life stressors often create lasting effects that extend far beyond symptoms alone.

This two-part training series explores how clinicians and care team leaders can help individuals move toward recovery, resilience, and meaningful engagement in life using a transdiagnostic, process-based approach to care. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Behavioral Activation (BA), mindfulness-based interventions, and contextual behavioral science, participants will learn practical strategies for increasing psychological flexibility, reducing experiential avoidance, improving engagement, and supporting values-based living.

Grounded in whole-person, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and integrated care principles, the series provides practical tools for working across a broad range of behavioral health presentations while strengthening ethical practice, clinical decision-making, documentation, supervision, consultation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will explore approaches that support high-quality direct service provision, effective supervision and consultation, ethical decision-making, documentation practices, and collaborative team-based care within complex healthcare systems.

Training methods include didactic instruction, case application, experiential exercises, structured clinical formulation, and skills practice.
