We would like to welcome you to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina for this year's Annual Certified Nursing Assistant Conference at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC.

This year's conference title is "You are Enough". This was chosen because we want to encourage certified nursing assistants to be all they can be and to celebrate all the wonderful contributions they provide to patient care. This conference will provide content that enables each CNA with information to enhance every aspect of their clinical care, within individual clinical practice arenas. The faculty are professional leaders that have been recognized as content experts for the topics they will present. Each speaker will share different facets of clinical care.

Certified Nursing Assistants are an intricate part of the healthcare team and the reason that so many of our residents, patients and co-workers are able to provide excellent clinical care. It is the intent of this conference to provide education, recognition and professional development to Certified Nursing Assistants in all care settings.

Participants Will:

• Receive updates on the latest statistics for opioid use in our community and its impact
• Learn skills to assist with personal wellness
• Practice hands on skills in lab draws in the Simulation Center
