12 Sessions: DHB Office Hours are held the third Wednesday of the Month and TCM Focus Groups (by invitation only) are held the first Wednesday of the month (12:30-1:30pm)

July 1st, 2021, marked the start of NC Medicaid Transformation with the transition to Standard Care Plans. NC DHHS began Tailored Care Management (TCM) on December 1st, 2022. The Department launched Tailored Plans on July 1st, 2024. During these implementations, DHHS developed a partnership with the North Carolina Area Health Education Center (NC AHEC) to provide practice support, technical assistance, and continuing professional development to help Tailored Care Management providers who have applied and passed the desk review in the transition to Tailored Care Management. The TCM Learning Collaborative is designed to assist TCM candidates in developing the administrative tools to implement best practices within all treatment settings and among all providers. These sessions will be hosted by NC AHEC Practice Support and the Continuing Professional Development Department at MAHEC to facilitate a coordinated learning experience with access to subject matter experts across the state. The TCM Learning Collaborative hosts DHB Office Hours on the third Wednesday of the month, and TCM Provider Focus Groups (by invitation only) on the first Wednesday of the month from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. TCM Focus Groups are for certified TCM providers only. Please contact your NC AHEC Practice Support Coach for access. Due to the nature of this collaborative, no educational credit will be provided.

This collaborative consists of one-hour live DHB Special Update sessions and Rounds 1-3 TCM Provider Focus Group webinars, occurring twice a month.
