Vacation: 4 weeks per year
For the OP/US block, clinical time is divided equally between office MFM and US.
Labor and Delivery (LD) rotation includes a half day of continuity clinic each week at MAHEC clinic
Genetics (GEN), Selective (S), and Elective (E) time may include both inpatient (Mission Hospital) and Outpatient (MAHEC) experience. They will not include Research time.

RES: Research
LD: Labor and Delivery Supervisor
ICU: Intensive Care Unit

Application Process

Candidates must have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology program in good standing and have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3. We are listed in ERAS as: MAHEC Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship (Asheville). Our ACGME program number is: 2303622002.

Interviews will be conducted virtually on the following dates: July 6, 2022 and August 3, 2022

Applicants will only be considered for an interview once all requested application materials have been received.

  • Letters of Recommendation should be emailed directly to the Program Coordinator from your current or previous Program Director and at least one MFM faculty member.

Applicants must have satisfactorily completed an ACGME or AOA accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program, and must have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in North Carolina.
