Practice Consulting

Health Innovation Partners (‘HIP Team’), the practice consulting arm of MAHEC, has been engaged in practice support in Western North Carolina over the past five years. In that time, we have provided over 100 practices with quality and process improvement coaching and forty practices with PCMH transformation and NCQA Recognition support.

We are a team of twenty Quality Consultants (Clinical and Operational), EHR/Data Specialists and Project Managers, who brings over 200 years combined experience.  We have substantial expertise in implementing population health, care management, Care Process Models, PCMH and PCSP, revenue cycle redesign, data analysis and outcome reporting, and Annual Wellness and Group Medical Visits, among many other programs, for small and large individual practices, including residency programs, and across primary care networks.  We pride ourselves in getting to know practices and customizing our approach to their needs.
