From "just in case" to "just in time"

To meet the information needs of health and human service professionals who practice in MAHEC’s 16 counties, our Library and Knowledge Services (LKS) have evolved from a print-based library space to providing “just in time” virtual access where and when our customers need information.

On MAHEC's Biltmore Campus, librarians are now embedded within departments, programs, and residencies. Being integrated into clinical and programmatic teams, librarians develop strong relationships with providers and administrators that enhance our ability to meet specific information needs, support departmental goals, and target information delivery.
