The Department of Research and Library Science at UNC Health Sciences at MAHEC is committed to conducting and providing access to community-based, patient-centered healthcare research that addresses the unique needs of our rural mountain region. We strive to be the experts in rural health professions education, population health issues, health policy, and health data analysis in Western North Carolina.
Our research efforts are focused on several core areas:
