The LPN symposium will address current and important topics related to the practice of the LPN in a variety of clinical settings. Topics to include:
- Dementia situation simulation
- Integrative medicine
- Self-care for the LPN
Attendance Options
Participants can choose to attend the full symposium (morning didactics and afternoon simulation, offered in person only) or just the morning session (didactics only, offered in person or via live webinar).Target Audience
LPN, Directors of Nursing, RN and all other interested individuals
Objectives
- List ways nurses can assure ongoing commitment and contentment with their profession
- Explain how persons with dementia assess their surroundings in various situations
- List ways nurses can prevent burnout
- Participants will have the opportunity to practice skills in Foley catheters and wound care
