DescriptionYou are invited to attend the 4th annual Clinical Update for the Medical Assistant. This program is building momentum as today’s Medical Assistant is a key allied health professional that supports and enhances the work of physicians and other health care professionals within various clinical settings.
This conference offers a full day of eye-opening clinical information geared toward the Medical Assistants. This year, the Medical Assistant will have a hands-on experience in the SIM Center with observing and obtaining abnormal vital signs, participating in the room of horrors (What’s wrong with this patient's room?), reviewing anatomy on a virtual cadaver, reviewing sterile technique, having a discussion with a virtual difficult patient, and much more. The primary sessions will include a 2019 HIV Update, discussions related to the progression of dementia, as well as takeaway pearls of wisdom for maintaining a healthy psyche while working in today’s healthcare setting. This professional development program will prove to be engaging, practical, and evidence-based for all Medical Assistants.
